Kia Ata Mai offers ministry-funded PLD in Rangaranga Reo ā-Tā to strengthen effective literacy practice in Māori-medium and bilingual settings. Our programmes support kaiako to build a deep understanding of the theory and practice for the successful implementation of Te Reo Rangatira.

PLD Information

Rangaranga Reo ā-Tā PLD consists of three days of professional learning, and four Communities of Practice.

Content includes:

  • the scope and sequence for structured literacy

  • aromatawai - te ako mō me te ako ō

  • integrating pānui, tuhituhi and kōrero

  • alignment to Te Reo Rangatira

  • practical use of teaching resources
