Kia Ata Mai offers ministry-funded PLD to kura leadership and kaiako in māori-medium and bilingual settings to strengthen aromatawai practice.
PLD Information
Aromatawai PLD consists of six days of professional learning, and eight Communities of Practice per kura over a twelve month period. PLD is co-designed with kura leaders and kaiako based on the Aromatawai rubric.
Focus areas include:
using quality information to plan teaching and for reporting
using inclusive and accessible practices
using learning outcomes for mokopuna success
collecting, storing and visibility of quality information
using tools and resources to support practice and generate quality information
